UNS N08810 Plate contains nickel, iron, and chromium and is part of the 800 series alloy family. This means that Incoloy 800H Plate has similar properties to the 800 alloy. Incoloy alloy 800H (UNS N08810) has excellent resistance to localized corrosion, stress corrosion cracking, and both oxidizing and reducing media, making it suitable for a wide variety of chemical process environments. These include ferric and cupric chlorides, hot contaminated media (organic and inorganic), formic and acetic acids, seawater, and brine solutions. It is one of the few materials that withstands the corrosive effects of wet chlorine gas, hypochlorite, and chlorine dioxide.
